Orioles | Jason Hammel expected to start Thursday

Baltimore Orioles SP Jason Hammel (knee) is expected to be activated from the disabled list and start against the New York Yankees Thursday, Sept. 6. He threw a successful bullpen Tuesday, Sept. 4, and threw five scoreless innings in a rehab game with Single-A Frederick Saturday, Sept. 1. SP Wei-Yin Chen will now start Friday, Sept. 7.
