New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira (calf) missed his sixth straight game with a left calf strain Monday, Sept. 3, but he took batting practice before the game and could return by the end of the week. "The real test is going to come when he has to run," manager Joe Girardi said. "Can he make those bursts he has to make?"
