Tigers | Avisail Garcia recalled

The Detroit Tigers recalled OF Avisail Garcia from Double-A Erie Friday, Aug. 31, and designated INF Jeff Baker for assignment in a corresponding move. Garcia hit .299 with 14 home runs, 58 RBIs and 17 doubles between Erie and Single-A Lakeland this year. RP Al Alburquerque (elbow) will be recalled from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo Sunday, Sept. 2.
