Redskins | Alfred Morris does not play in preseason finale
Washington Redskins RB Alfred Morris was a healthy scratch for the preseason finale Wednesday, Aug. 29, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy Tip: Morris has been gaining traction as a fantasy sleeper on draft day, but the strong performances of RBs Roy Helu and Evan Royster Wednesday muddle the tailback picture in D.C. significantly. Head coach Mike Shanahan has been fickle with running backs in the past, and neither appears to be anything more than an RB3 or 'flex' fantasy play in leagues of 12 or more teams at this point.
