Cardinals | Yadier Molina fine with play

St. Louis Cardinals C Yadier Molina (shoulder, back, neck) said the play at the plate that knocked him out of the game Tuesday, Aug. 28, was a "clean play." He is hoping to return Friday, Aug. 31, or Saturday, Sept. 1. Molina won't do any baseball activities Wednesday, Aug. 29, but he has reported some improvement. A second round of concussion tests came back negative.
