Cubs | Starlin Castro's full contract terms

Updating previous items, Chicago Cubs SS Starlin Castro will receive a $6 million signing bonus and a $5 million base salary in the first two years of his contract. His salary then goes to $6 million in the third year, $7 million in the fourth, $9 million in the fifth, $10 million in the sixth and $11 million in the seventh. There is an option for an eighth year at $16 million or a buyout of $1 million.
