Diamondbacks | Willie Bloomquist could return Saturday

Arizona Diamondbacks 3B Willie Bloomquist (back) was hitless in two at-bats during a minor-league appearance Monday, Aug. 27, and he is scheduled to play again Wednesday, Aug. 29. He might return Saturday, Sept. 1, but manager Kirk Gibson said that is tentative. "We'll see how he feels," Gibson said. "He felt really good yesterday and feels good today so far. But if he's not ready to play, I don't know if we'd activate him."
