Chargers | Jared Gaither not expected to be ready in Week 1

San Diego Chargers OT Jared Gaither (back) will not play in the preseason finale Thursday, Aug. 30, and the team is preparing to be without him in the regular season opener against the Oakland Raiders. Gaither is still awaiting MRI results. He has been dealing with back spasms throughout training camp and the preseason.
