Blue Jays | Henderson Alvarez hit in the shin

Toronto Blue Jays SP Henderson Alvarez (shin) left his start Monday, Aug. 27, against the New York Yankees after being hit by a comebacker in the left shin. X-rays were negative, and he was diagnosed with a contusion. Henderson is considered day to day.
