Cardinals | Tyrell Jenkins out for season

St. Louis Cardinals minor league SP Tyrell Jenkins (lat) suffered a strained right lat during his start for Class A Quad Cities Friday, Aug. 24, after striking out the first two batters. He will be re-evaluated before the end of the regular season but will not pitch again this year.
