Dolphins | Searching for an identity on offense
The Miami Dolphins appear to be a pass-first offense this season, as the unit's pass-to-run ratio in their preseason game Friday, Aug. 24, was 39-to-24. QB Ryan Tannehill had 27 attempts in less than three quarters of work. However, the philosophy does not appear to be a good fit for the talent the team has. With the West Coast offense built on precision passing, the combination of an inexperienced quarterback and little talent at the receiver and tight end positions makes it difficult to establish.
