Dodgers | Andre Ethier wearing pad
Los Angeles Dodgers OF Andre Ethier (blister) is dealing with a quarter-sized hole in the palm of his right hand where his blister popped under a callus, where he holds the knob of the bat. Ethier will keep playing with the injury, and he's wearing a pad with a donut hole in the middle taped over the blister. He choked up slightly on the bat Wednesday, Aug. 22, but he'll have to deal with the issue for the rest of the season. "I feel great, I feel good, except I have a huge hole in my hand that hurts," Ethier said. "That's the frustrating part. It's just like Donnie said, you have to figure out a way to go up there and battle and keep having tough at-bats and find a way to contribute."
