New Orleans Saints LB Barrett Ruud practiced Thursday, Aug. 23, making it possible for him to play in the team's preseason game against the Houston Texans Saturday, Aug. 25. "We are integrating him into the defense so we could see him maybe later on in the second half," acting head coach Joe Vitt said.
