Blue Jays | No plans to demote Ricky Romero

Toronto Blue Jays SP Ricky Romero will not have his next start skipped, and the team doesn't plan on sending him to the minors. Romero has lost an American League-worst 10 straight decisions while putting up an ERA of 7.69 and a WHIP of 1.96 over an 11-start span. He gave up a career-high eight walks in his start against the Detroit Tigers Tuesday, Aug. 21.
