Red Sox | John Lackey throws

Boston Red Sox SP John Lackey (elbow) threw 45 pitches in the bullpen Sunday, Aug. 19. The team isn't ruling out a return by Lackey later this season, and general manager Ben Cherington expects Lackey to pitch in a "competitive environment" this year.
