Rangers | Ian Kinsler struggling

Texas Rangers 2B Ian Kinsler, who had the day off Thursday, Aug. 16, is hitless in his last 13 at-bats and has only four hits in his last 35 in nine games. He's batting .227 in his last 29 contests. "It looks like he's a little sluggish," skipper Ron Washington said. "I'm just trying to get him to catch his breath. He's missing pitches that he normally hits. His bat looks a little heavy. I'm going to give him a day off after a night game, and maybe that will rejuvenate him."
