Tigers | Victor Martinez running out of time

Detroit Tigers C Victor Martinez (knee) is running out of time to return for the end of the season, and trainer Kevin Rand isn't optimistic that V-Mart will return this year. Martinez hasn't started "a running progression" yet. "I'm looking at Victor Martinez from the standpoint that we've got 2013 and 2014," Rand said. "I'd love to have him here. But by the same token, you can't put him at risk for those two years."
