Twins | Trevor Plouffe hitless in first rehab game

Minnesota Twins SS Trevor Plouffe (thumb), who is on rehab assignment at Triple-A Rochester, went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the Red Wings' 5-3 victory over Pawtucket Saturday, Aug. 11. Rehabbing from nerve damage in his thumb, Plouffe could return to the parent club as soon as Aug. 13.
