Boston Red Sox 3B Will Middlebrooks (wrist) suffered a broken right wrist Friday, Aug. 10, when he was hit on the wrist by a pitch. The team will recall 3B Danny Valencia from Triple-A Pawtucket in the corresponding move when Middlebrooks lands on the 15-day disabled list Saturday, Aug. 11.
