Tigers | Could try to re-sign Jose Valverde

The Detroit Tigers could try to re-sign CL Jose Valverde because they won't entrust 21-year-old RP Bruce Rondon with the closer job in 2013. They could use Valverde to close while grooming him for the role. Rondon was recently promoted to Triple-A Toledo after dominating Double-A Erie with a 0.83 ERA in 21 2/3 innings.
