Rockies | Jonathan Sanchez placed on disabled list

The Colorado Rockies have placed SP Jonathan Sanchez (tendinitis) on the 15-day disabled list because of left biceps tendinitis. In a corresponding move, SP Tyler Chatwood has been recalled from Double-A Tulsa. Chatwood will start against the San Francisco Giants Sunday, Aug. 5.
