Cubs | Darwin Barney returns to action Friday

Chicago Cubs 2B Darwin Barney (head) went 1-for-4 with a run scored in his return to the lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday, Aug. 3. He tied Ryne Sandberg's franchise record for the most consecutive errorless games in one season with 90, established during the 1989 season. Sandberg carried his streak into the 1990 season until it ended at 123 games.
