Rockies | Christian Friedrich may miss another start

Colorado Rockies SP Christian Friedrich (back) had more discomfort during a side session Friday, Aug. 3, and he may miss another start Sunday, Aug. 5. He's being bothered by back spasms. The team wants Friedrich to log more innings but they won't rush him through an injury. He has gone 1-3 with a 7.77 ERA in July.
