Nationals | Kurt Suzuki acquired

The Washington Nationals acquired C Kurt Suzuki from the Oakland Athletics Friday, Aug. 3, in exchange for C David Freitas.

Fantasy Tip: This should help slightly boost Suzuki's disappointing 2012 fantasy value; he'll be surrounded by a better offensive lineup in D.C.

Back in Oakland, this means Derek Norris will most likely be recalled, where he'll probably form a catching platoon with lefty swinging George Kottaras. Norris is the better target, but only as a commodity in AL-only or two-catcher formats.
