Red Sox | Josh Beckett skips bullpen session
Boston Red Sox SP Josh Beckett (back) skipped his bullpen session Thursday, Aug. 2, making it "more than likely" that he'll miss his next start, according to manager Bobby Valentine. Beckett is also questionable for a bullpen Friday, Aug. 3, and it's unknown if he'll need to go on the disabled list. P Franklin Morales will be available to pitch in relief Thursday, and he'll be "waiting in the wings" if Beckett can't make the start against the Minnesota Twins Sunday, Aug. 5.
