Lions | Jahvid Best could be out for a while

Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said the status of RB Jahvid Best (concussion) is still uncertain. "The only thing I will say is we're measuring Jahvid in weeks, not days. He's not day-to-day."

Fantasy Tip: This news puts Best's Week 1 availability in question; his early-season workload will be light even if he returns in the next few weeks. He was cleared for organized team activities only to be put on the shelf for contact drills this summer. Fantasy footballers should downgrade him in their rankings and view Best as a very risky RB3 or a worthwhile gamble as a fourth back.
