Braves | Tommy Hanson's injury not serious

Atlanta Braves SP Tommy Hanson's (back) injury isn't believed to be serious enough to keep him on the disabled list longer than 15 days. SP Kris Medlen will remain in the rotation for the time being, and he'll start again against the Houston Astros Sunday, Aug. 5. "We just felt like the timing is perfect with the addition of another pitcher that we can hopefully knock it out completely if we give him these two weeks," general manager Frank Wren said. "Then have him for the last six, seven weeks of the season."
