Updating a previous report, Chicago White Sox C A.J. Pierzynski (oblique) is not expected to play Saturday, July 28, with a left-handed pitcher on the mound, but he is available as a backup. Pierzynski is expected to play in the series finale Sunday, July 29, against the Texas Rangers.
