Twins | Trevor Plouffe may go on DL

Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said 3B Trevor Plouffe (thumb) likely will go on the 15-day disabled list if he is not able to swing a bat by Thursday, July 26. Gardenhire said the team may recall 3B Danny Valencia from Triple-A Rochester if Plouffe goes on disabled list.
