New York Mets SS Ruben Tejada (shin) had a pair of gashes on his right shin, but said Monday, July 23, he will not require stitches. Tejada was injured in a collision at second base with Washington Nationals OF Roger Bernadina. "He's spiked pretty bad. He's got two pretty-good-size cuts," manager Terry Collins said.
