Red Sox | Bobby Valentine to sit down with Jon Lester

Boston Red Sox skipper Bobby Valentine plans to talk with SP Jon Lester and discuss ways to get the left-hander back on track. "You let him know that if you're that far down, there's only one way to go and that's up. I believe in him. I know nobody else in this room does, but I do. That's a good start and maybe if he's sitting in here that will make two of us by the time he leaves," Valentine said. The team continues to say that Lester is healthy despite allowing 21 earned runs and 25 hits (five home runs) with 10 walks and 12 strikeouts in his last three starts. Valentine could choose to skip Lester's next start and give him some time to think things over, but Valentine said he thinks Lester will start this weekend against the New York Yankees.
