Bears | Matt Forte contract update

Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte received a $4 million signing bonus and $17.1 million in total guaranteed money as part of his recent deal. The contract averages $7.6 million over the full term of the deal, $7.53 million over the first three years. Forte received base salaries of $800,000 in 2012 ($6.8 million salary-cap figure), $1.7 million in 2013 ($7.175 million salary-cap figure), $5.5 million in 2014 ($7.287 million salary-cap figure) and $6.65 million in 2015 ($8.537 million salary-cap figure).
