Rays | Sam Fuld to play the field Wednesday

Tampa Bay Rays OF Sam Fuld (wrist) will play nine innings in the field Wednesday, July 18, in a rehab game. Fuld went 0-for-4 with Triple-A Durham Tuesday, July 17, and he has gone 3-for-20 in seven rehab games with Durham and Single-A Charlotte. "He's feeling pretty good," manager Joe Maddon said. "He's probably ahead of schedule. I think tonight will tell a lot after he plays. (Trainer Ron Porterfield) keeps sending glowing reports about him, so it may be sooner rather than later."
