Angels | Chris Iannetta, Vernon Wells ready for rehab assignments

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim C Chris Iannetta (forearm) and OF Vernon Wells (thumb) are ready to begin rehab assignments this weekend. Iannetta will return as the primary catcher, but Wells will likely be the odd-man out in the outfield with OFs Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo and Torii Hunter all playing well. OF Peter Bourjos is also surging in limited playing time. Wells will likely need seven to 10 rehab games before returning.
