White Sox | Paul Konerko's batting average in a nose dive
Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Tuesday, July 17, that he has no plans to move 1B Paul Konerko out of the cleanup spot despite the fact Konerko's batting average has slipped from .399 to .318 since May 27. "He's just missing balls and even last night, it looked like a regular swing that he had, and it just popped up. So you go through phases during the season you wish you could get out of and can't necessarily do that," Ventura said. "I think eventually he'll get out of it."
