Blue Jays | Jose Bautista to DL

Toronto Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista (wrist) was placed on the 15-day disabled list with wrist inflammation. OF Anthony Gose was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas.

Fantasy Tip: Inflammation seems like the best fantasy owners could've expected, so perhaps Joey Bats' absence won't be for too long. The swelling could signify structural damage, even if it's mild, however, so until the Jays release results of tests as well as a timetable, roto players will be in limbo. Gose's .292/.395/.432 slash line with 29 steals in the PCL isn't overly impressive, but he's one of the game's best outfield prospects and should be picked up in deep leagues. The left-handed hitter probably won't play every day, but he could provide a short-term speed boost.
