Diamondbacks | John McDonald continues to progress

Arizona Diamondbacks SS John McDonald (oblique) was able to take some swings in batting practice Sunday, July 15, at the team's spring training facility. Manager Kirk Gibson said Monday, July 16, that he hopes to get McDonald back in the lineup soon after the team's four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. "Hopefully, by the end of next week, he can start playing games," Gibson said.
