Bears | Agree to deal with Matt Forte

The Chicago Bears and franchise free-agent RB Matt Forte have agreed to a four-year deal. The deal will average about $8 million per year.

Fantasy Tip: This will definitely ease some concerns about Forte's value heading into this year's drafts. However, it may be tough for him to repeat as a top-10 fantasy football back with Michael Bush stealing some touches and possibly goal-line work. The Bears also brought in Brandon Marshall, and Jay Cutler has plenty of chemistry with him from their days with the Denver Broncos. A new offensive coordinator could create a different dynamic, too. Forte will be more valuable in PPR leagues and should still serve as a No. 1 runner, but with all the changes in Chicago, it might be best to view him as a weak No. 1 right now.
