Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim RP Ernesto Frieri was tagged for three earned runs, a hit and two walks Sunday, July 15, against the New York Yankees. He threw just nine of his 20 pitches for strikes. Frieri hadn't allowed an earned run as an Angel in his first 26 1/3 innings. His ERA rose from 0.00 to 1.03 as a result.
