Blue Jays | Sergio Santos out for the season

Toronto Blue Jays RP Sergio Santos (shoulder) is expected to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery after he experienced discomfort during a throwing session Saturday, July 14. Manager John Farrell believes the injury occurred to his labrum but did not affect his rotator cuff. No date has been scheduled for Santos' surgery, although he is expected to be ready by spring training.
