Mets | Huston Street open to deal
San Diego Padres CL Huston Street seemed open to a trade to the New York Mets, which was thought to be improbable because of Street's shaky past with Mets bench coach Bob Geren. Previously, Street referred to Geren as "my least favorite person I have ever encountered in sports from age 6 to 27." Street upgraded his opinion of Geren to "a good man," and partly blamed their rocky relationship on himself. Street said he would approach Geren and talk it out with him if he were traded to the Mets.
