New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter will bat leadoff for the American League in the 2012 All-Star Game. He will be followed by Yankees 2B Robinson Cano, Texas Rangers OF Josh Hamilton, Toronto Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista, Detroit Tigers 1B Prince Fielder, Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre, Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz, Rangers C Mike Napoli and Yankees OF Curtis Granderson. Tigers SP Justin Verlander will be the starting pitcher for the team.
