White Sox | Matt Thornton fills in for Addison Reed
Chicago White Sox RP Matt Thornton filled in for RP Addison Reed Saturday, July 7, in a save situation against the Toronto Blue Jays. Manager Robin Ventura said he wanted to stay away from Reed Saturday because he had worked in the previous three games. Thornton allowed a hit with two strikeouts to earn a four-out save, his second of the season.
