Blue Jays | Not interested in rentals

The Toronto Blue Jays may be buyers at the trade deadline, but they're not interested in trading away long-range prospects for players that will be free agents this winter, according to major league sources. They would rather keep 3B Edwin Encarnacion, 2B Kelly Johnson and RP Jason Frasor rather than accept weaker returns in the short term. The Blue Jays are unlikely to make any "go for it" trades in which they overpay.
