Diamondbacks | Joe Saunders to throw in Rookie League game

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Joe Saunders (shoulder) will throw upward of 90 pitches Sunday, July 8, in an Arizona Rookie League game at Salt River Fields. Saunders pitched a simulated game Tuesday, July 3, at Chase Field and came out of it saying he felt ready to start right away but the club insisted on him throwing again beforehand.
