Tigers | Brennan Boesch dropped in order

Detroit Tigers OF Brennan Boesch was dropped to eighth in the lineup Tuesday, July 3, but manager Jim Leyland said he hasn't lost any faith in him. "We certainly haven't lost any confidence in him," Leyland said. "We think he has a high ceiling. I've always felt that way. He's got a lot of equipment." Boesch is hitting .231 with seven home runs and 27 RBIs this year. He's hitting only .135 with two RBIs in his last 15 games.
