Tigers | Max Scherzer doing better

Detroit Tigers SP Max Scherzer (hamstring) played "more than light catch" Tuesday, July 3, and he was feeling much better. Scherzer said he was strong enough to make the start, but the team made the move to skip him as a precaution. He'll make his next start against the Kansas City Royals Sunday, July 8.
