Astros | Chris Johnson battling muscle strain

Houston Astros 3B Chris D. Johnson (side) was scratched from the lineup Sunday, July 1, due to a strained muscle in his left side. He was instructed not to swing a bat Monday, July 2, and is still a couple of days away from returning to the lineup. "They told me not to hit today, and hopefully, tomorrow I can come in and swing the bat. Right now, we're just day to day," Johnson said. 3B Scott Moore started at 3B Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
