Seattle Mariners OF Jamal Austin went 5-for-5 Saturday, June 30, with Class A Clinton. On Sunday, July 1, he went 4-for-6 with a home run, career-high four runs scored, and three RBIs. He collected hits in nine consecutive at-bats to set a team record, and he fell one hit short of tying the Midwest League record set by Rene Lopez in 1993.
