Red Sox | Josh Beckett hopes for more run support

Boston Red Sox SP Josh Beckett (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day disabled list to start Saturday, June 30, against the Seattle Mariners. He is 4-7 with a 4.14 ERA, and 0-3 over his past three starts. However, in his seven losses, the Red Sox have provided him with a total of 12 runs. Since joining the Red Sox in 2006, Beckett is 7-1 with a 2.30 ERA in nine career starts against the Mariners.
